Now I just need to find someone that can install my comand 2.0 as well.
I've had it laying around here for over 9 months now

Where did you get those tips from? Are they OEM tips? I'm thinking of doing my quad exhaust soon.

You should remove that ugly front license plate. CLK's look more aggressive with that pointed nose front bumper. It's a risk one has to take here in CA, just a $10 fix it ticket if you get caught without a front plate.

As black_clk said, mine is the older version. You have the NGT while I have the Comand 2.0.

Yeah I know but here it's around $60-100 ticket if you get caught. And there's always a police car nearby The license plate doesn't bother me. The bumper already hade the holes for it when I bought it.

They are from ebay. They are damn near close to OEM. Great quality! I sure as he*l couldn't see any difference in quality from my OEM C55 AMG exhaust

Check this link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123

Great seller and fast shipping.

Thanks Angelo!
Feels like there's tons more to do.
Lately I've been having thoughts about selling the 320 and buying something better. I've been looking at C63, CL55, E55 for a while.
But I'll keep the 320 for now and see where it takes me

Angelo, did you have to take your car to the dealership to get it programmed for the Comand?
Did you have this wiring loom adapter when you installed your comand?
http://www.comandonline.co.uk/comand2-wiring-adapter.html

Me and a friend are trying to figure some things out with the comand install.
Since my volume buttons on the steering wheel don't work with the comand, and I can't change songs or see track # or radio station in the dashboard I figure I need this wiring loom?

Thanks!

My next project besides finding a freakin mechanic that could weld my amg tips and booking a time at the dealership for coding the Comand is the "Audio project".

I don't know much about this, I don't know anything about car audio to be honest. I was recommended Helix Precision H236 speakers and that's what I have ordered.

I'm having 2 speakers each at the doors that's all I know I'm getting help from a friend with this so I'm counting on him on this project

I have ordered these cables(see pics), don't know what they are for, think they are for the speakers, so I don't have to cut the old wires or something.
I also ordered a new gps, since the one I got the first time wasn't the correct one.

Bought a ODB II -> USB cable as well, I will try to code the Comand myself with MB Carsoft if possible, if not, stealership here I come.

I will be ordering the 6/4 amg calipers by the end of the month. I will write an Official 6/4pot amg caliper/brake upgrade when I start with that project.

The first harness allows you to use the factory speaker plug on aftermarket speakers, makes the install easier when you are slacking and using the OEM speaker leads. J/K - you're not going with an aftermarket system so you're okay.

Lol. That's correct! This audio stuff is confusing. I feel like I've cheated on you by not checking with you with this audio project But you are a busy man and I didn't want to bother you with this stuff

I FINALLY booked a time at an exhaust shop!! Got off work few hours earlier today and thought, why not get the freakin exhaust done
Since my muffler is a OEM C55 the pipes that "hold" the tips are spaced together closer than CLK55 I guess so this job will require some custom job to fit the bigger tips. Check pics.

I will post some pics when it's done next monday!!

Off topic but, I got alot better sound with the C55 muffler than the stock one

Against your new AMG skirt they look like they shrunk in the wash

It's going to look nice and finished when you get it all settled.

Hehe, you should have seen my face when I first saw the muffler installed.
I was like: "Uhhh shouldn't the muffler & tips be more to the left?" Then I realized that the tips were too small

I'm probably doing quad exhaust next spring, "mikatas spring mods 2012".
Right now I'm focusing on 6/4 amg calipers and finishing my audio project Alot of mods left but too little time to get them done...

Yeah you need the wiring loom harness...well unless you want to do cutting and splicing and all that which is not fun...

The wire loom, which the part number is in my comand 2.0 upgrade thread...then you take the pins out ofthe old plug and plug them into the purchased wire harness...I have the lay outs of where the pins from the audio 20 to comand 2.0 go...

Let me know if you need it...

Thanks for getting back to me Angelo. I'll buyt the wiring loom tomorrow.
Could you send me the layouts? I'll PM you my e-mail address.

Sorry if I ask the same question again, but did you have to take your car to the dealership to get it programmed?

This comand install been giving me a few headaches. I don't like leave things half finished..

Angelo, I just checked your thread, you didn't list this wiring loom in it:
http://www.comandonline.co.uk/comand...g-adapter.html.
However I bought the other wiring harness that you listed.
When I installed the Comand I didn't use the wiring harness since my friend said it wasn't needed.

The problem I'm facing right now is that I can't use the volume buttons and I can't change songs/radio stations on the steering wheel.
Is that because of I didn't use the wiring harness or because I need to get it programmed at the dealership?
