Bi-xenon retrofit, which parts?
It looks to me like the 03-05 lights are different than the later 'active' series. Is there any reason to prefer one version over the other??

lol, I bought mine from eBay.There is a kit MB sells to fix broken tabs.

After some research, i found that the CLK63 BS is using the OLD xenon's. Not sure why? I think they newer ones look a bit better. Here is a pic to compare

I don't think I have seen anyone retro-fit features along with the xenons. Sounds like a job for Steve at MbenzNL.

So if i buy a headlight on eBay that says "all tabs broken"...there is a fix-it-kit for that? The ones with broken tabs are going super cheap

Yup. Keep in mind I have never seen the repair kit nor have I repaired any tabs myself.

I think the reason they used the older lights was to conserve some weight, the active headlights probably add a tiny bit with the wiring, motors, modifications and what not. The black series also doesnt have power seats
