I don't think it will work with proxy, the traffic still needs to go through the firewall and I don't think the FW will accept it.
Badblack, cant you publish another address in the IIS to the forum, do a IIS redirect?
Or just use your phone with tethering when you want to surf to blocked sites, but if you do that you can't access companys intranet, shares Exchange mailbox(unless you use Outlook Anywhere) and other stuff

Hahaha no phones allowed in the building. I used to be able to bypass the proxy but they took it away . I will just have to hit it from home. It may be a DNS problem here that is causing it though as the reason for the block is "None", which isnt a surprise (DNS problem).

You can use teamviewer to connect to your home pc and surf from that. It's like a rdp program that runs on port 80 and that port is definately not blocked its freeware and I use it when I work from home and connect to costumers environments when I don't wanna use vpn or citrix
