Finally, CLK550 Dyno!
True his car is putting down some impressive numbers but the attitude that came along with all the bragging was just over the top and many people here disliked him for that. He'll be back
Its becoming clear what the issue is, either way hopefully the keyway is still in decent shape. It is possible to install the pulley without the keyway, the keyway is purely to line up the timing marks with the crank orientation, but is not absolutely essential (it is recommended).
Thanks again,

Removal and installation pulley doesn't really require locking up the flywheel if you use the impact gun. But you definitely have to lock up the flywheel when time to torques down the bolt around 125-150 lbs-ft (depending on model). If I were you, have the customer take a picture of the pulley keyway groove to see if there's any sign of damages and problem solve.
Either way, AMS is here to back up the customer with our full support. If they need a new pulley a new one will be provided free of charge as a part of our AMS Lifetime Warranty.
Thx,

The car is in the shop as we speak. As soon as we get an update, I'm sure he will pass it on to you. Thanks for the help.
I find it very very hard to believe that black's car ran a 12.5 with just minor mods because the AMG E55 Kompressor stock ran 12.5. My friend's C55 with Kleemann SC ran an 12.4. Video........anywhere?
Here's the info I got from Car and Driver magazine.....
"Of course, the telltale sign that really matters resides under the hood in the form of AMG's hand-built 5.4-liter, supercharged-and-intercooled 24-valve V-8, which puts out a Jack LaLanne-healthy 469 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. Teamed with a heavy-duty AMG five-speed automatic, the blown V-8 produces staggering results: 0 to 60 in 4.1 seconds; the quarter-mile in 12.5 at 114 mph; and 0 to 150 in 24 flat. The comparisons at the start of this story show what kind of sports cars this wagon stays door to door with. "Mommy, race that Ferrari!""

Very misleading depending how he raced the 335i. Let just assumed that the 335i did ran a 12.5s 1/4. But if black raced him with rolling start, or from 40 mph, or from 80 mph...etc. like most of his video we saw, it not an accure results. You really have to race from 0 mph to top speed for a real result. I remember 10 years ago I raced mine Slk230 ASP pulley kit with mine friend e320. He beat me every single rolling start no matter at 30, 40, 50 mph. Then we finally took it up to 145 mph. I slowly past him at 130 mph then 3 cars lenghts at 145 mph. It was his torques that alway make me play catch up.

And yes, i say those numbers are really impressive, but who the hell cares if it is faster than that or that, just enjoy what you have by yourself.
Everything about straight line and drag racing, somehow i don't get it. Maybe its just the european point of view, where suspension and handling is far more important than power in straight line.
