Tape for spoiler?

I just bought a rear (used) CF lip spoiler for my car from Mike on the forums and I was just wondering if there was a special type of 3m tape that I needed to install the spoiler. I want to get the tape while the spoiler is being shipped so I can put it on and get some pictures on here. Thanks

3m is what I used David. You'll see some of it still on there when you get it. It's a bite to remove.

I used 3m double sided tape for my BS spoiler and it sticks up a little. annoys the **** out of me, especially since leaves sometimes gets stuck in the gap. Goot amke sure you find the thin tape.

Hmmmm...........I used the 3m double sided tape too and mine does not have any gap what so ever. Too avoid the gap, you need to ONLY placement of the tape inside the groove of the spoiler. The groove is about 2-3mm deep. Any tape that accidently place out side the groove will add height and create gap.

Same install method here. No gaps at all.
