if you already have paddles, I don't see why the new ones won't work
as long as you plug the wires correctly

Yep... It should be pretty much it
Don't forget to unplug the grounf pole of your car battery so that the airbag error doesn't come up

I strongly suggest you hold off on that thought for a little while longer. If you've read the other threads about doing this conversion you'll see that there is a lot of work involved in swapping out internal circuts - I think I have that solved now but these are NOT a simple pop in and play. I spent about 2 hours with a dremel on my old steering wheel last night trying a few things out.

So, I suggest you and everyone else that wants to do the E63 paddle mod hang tight for my conversion thread - I will try to have it done this week but it's a heck of a lot of work...

Well crap, right after I had another break-through I'm thwarted on further testing due to not having the correct drill bit size and screws... As Annie says, "Tomorrow..."

An alcantara accented wheel and matching shift knob & boot are uber sexy in a back interior car

If I was to keep this car more than a couple years I would have liked to do the steering wheel accents, shift knob & boot, headliner and center seat inserts in alcantara.

Yo, Wes!

Do you have any more recent pics of your interior/ mods?

I looked on your album but couldn't see any new pics.

I was trying to show my friend some of your "carbon art".
