CLK REAR BUMPER AMG

1 Attachment(s)
Hey Guys,

Came across this one Ebay, want to know what you all think.

I emailed the guy he says its a AMG CLK63 BLACK SER STYLE FOR REGULAR NARROW BODY CLK.

But in his title its says its a MERCEDES CLK55 CLK REAR BUMPER AMG BLACK STYLE

I cant seem to find anything else on this through goggle.

Also whats you thought on how its looks. I am in the process in getting a few new body mod's for the car. Have a CLK 63 AMG OEM Bumber on order at this point.

Thanks

Louie

It looks good, but you're taking a chance with fitment. Not sure if you want to be the guinea pig. I hope you plan on going quad for that bumper.

Klinh 06-30-2011 01:46 PM

I love it !!! It doesn't look flare so i'm sure it made for the regular Clk. Can you give us the link....

Louie D 06-30-2011 02:07 PM

Heres the Link, I was just confused in what he told me it was and what the title says. Yeah the flare is not there he calls it narrow.

Looks good and yes it's for regular CLKs. Like Wes says, I'm not sure of the fitment either. Ask the seller. If you buy it you should consider to black out the lower part of the bumper, like you have on your AMG rear bumper(black plastic part) or else it won't look so much OEM. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, but my honest opinion, the amg rear bumper looks better and more refined with quads than that one.

Honestly... Dont do it. i dont think it will match the lines of the car as well as a OEM AMG bumper with a Diffuser..... just my 2 cents

12secCLK 07-01-2011 04:14 AM

wonder if they have pictures of that bumper on a car........ hate when they just show the bum per with out fitment on the car. :nix:

12secCLK 07-01-2011 04:26 AM

weird it says Serona design but they don't list this bumper on their website....

12secCLK,

Welcome to the forum. 1st question, do you really have an 12s Clk55? What kind of mods do you have?

I know this seller. As a matter of fact I visited his shop on Queens Blvd, and that is where I got my 63 front bumper.

I have never seen this bumper before so if it were me making the decision, I would look for something else.

No not at all, I am actually very happy with the front bumper bumper I bought.
Its something about the looks of the bumper you are considering. It doesnt look OEM to me because of the way the diffuser is attached to the bumper & the name also, it makes no sense... I guess once painted it will look better...

I like how the eBay ad states made of durable fiberglass..Until the first impact
Go with the oem AMG bumper as it will fit correct and flex when tapped unlike the durable fiberglass that WILL shatter

I would agreed with you if this were a front bumper. Since it the rear, you rarely ever hit anything, unlike the front bumper.

I don't think the fitment of the rear bumper would be a big deal since it pretty much a straight line unlike the front bumper.
