Resynch 2005 Key Fob
Replaced the batteries in my only key fob for 2005 CLK 500. Worked fine until this morning after went jogging. Now nothing, but can start the car if I put the fob in the ignition. Thinking I may be able to resynch it, but no instructions in the manual. Any ideas?

Try another set of batteries. I replaced mine and a day later the fob wasn't working - bad set of batteries, it happens. Replaced them again and nonissues for quite a while now.

You might try pointing at the driver's door infrared sensor and press and hole down both the lock and unlock buttons for 5 seconds. Report back.
