help with tuning clk240 (2002)

hi
i would like to tune my clk240 (2002) a bit
and if anyone could help me with that?

1st i would like to tune my engine
i checked some websites and i would gain 15hp to my 170, so it would be 185hp
and gain 20Nm
so I wonder if it is worth doing it or not? If you can feel a difference between before and after, because 15hp doesn't say much

2nd i would like to replace original doors by wing-doors
something like this http://www.siekmann-tuning.com/merce...ren-p-536.html
my question here is if some has any experience with those?

3rd I would like to replace my radio:
http://www.google.be/imgres?q=merced...2&tx=130&ty=84
foto isn't mine but have the same radio
and replace it with Pioneer avic f30bt http://www.pioneer.be/nl/products/25...0BT/index.html

question is : will I be able to use my buttons on my steering-wheel (like up and down the volume, change songs,...)
and do i need some additional stuff to plug it in?

4th i would like to replace my exhaust (2 pipes in one) looks something like this http://www.pmperformance.nl/img/mercedes/clk430.1.jpg
and replace is by 2 separate pipes
what do i need, to do that ? except pipe itself of course

and 5th to replace my back lights by these http://www.cargoods.nl/shop/led-acht...lk-w209-smoke/

can i just replace them or do i also need something else?

tnx

CLK 240 - 2003
Take sometime & search the forum for answers... some of the questions might have close answers to what u r looking for...

1) i dont think there are too many 240's with an ECU upgrade. but its no harm to do it anyway. you'll never be able to take on a 320 in a head 2 head race.. neither a GTI if you're that type of drag racing guys... but i guess IMO it does not hurt to go for an upgrade. (Factory Specs: maximum power output of 169.30 PS (124,38 kW or 166,17 HP) at 5500 Rev. per min. with torque 240.00 Nm (24,38 kgf-m or 176,12 ft.lbs) at 4500 Rev. per min.) so ur not really getting a 185 HP after the upgrade, the best i read around is getting a 12 HP gain which makes it a total of 180HP and not 185!

2) No idea! but for a CLK , it has kind of wide door for a coup and a long one i might say (not too light as well) that wouldn't be a pain if you are on a date, and the girl next to you needs to lift the door wide open? she'll have a heck of a bicep at the end of the day

3)I guess you have Audio 20 Set up. do a search, talk 2 Cartronics as well here, he can help you.. but i guess you might lose a couple of features such as visual in Cluster for the radio, changing songs, etc. - you will keep vol up & down.. and you do need additional stuff of wiring.

4) Search, you can rely on some quad exhaust threads, they give you an idea of what you need to do.

5) make sure the lights on installation are error free. meaning they will not light something up in your dash because they might be considered incompatible. and i see the lights on the URL u supplied are facelift models 2005/09 and not prefacelift.. so check that out in case they r not compatible as well.

Search my friend.. no one is going to help unless u read many threads and in desperate need of measurements .. ( i learned that the hard way

In the US they do not get much of the models we have in Europe or Middle east.

the 200 Komp, 240, 280 are not available. that is why you need to search for someone who already is not in the US and has made different mods to the car.

most here either have a 320 or 500...

word of advice, you won't get much power of a 240 in case for future mods. go for a bigger engine.. try buying a 320 and if you don't have the issue of mileage and gas (& insurance) go for a 500. then you would be feeling the difference. (@ least this is my own opinion :S)
