anyone have experience with this one?

this one looks SWEET

of course I have a 2009 CLK ... i am assuming I will have to change out the amp and bypass the OEM amp (stupid propriety fiber optic)

such a huge range in prices (from $799 to $1499)

i have the z110 bt. pretty awesome. i love it. looks bad ***. nice gui. good poi. have yet to get lost LOL.

and you will have the scrolling feature at your finger tips so thats dope.
be sure to do the hack where you can use the navi feature while driving.

and as for the amp, what are you looking to power?
i have alpine amps for both my speakers and sub and it works very well and im pleased.
others have used JL amps. all preference.

currently running T1 Rockford Fosgate Sub with Rockford fosgate 500 watt monoblock amp

need to power the mercedes speakers temporarily until i can change those out too ... i keep hearing about this propriety optical interface that makes plug and play damn near impossible??

no pics of my set up yet. i cleaned out my trunk. just have misc. parts sitting around.

i have the mrp-f300 and mrp-m500. the 300 is sending power to my speakers and 500 is sending power to my sub. i have the 6.5in c2 line from JL for speakers and i have the 12" 12W6v2 also from jl.

sorry if thats worded weird. too little sleep last night -__-

im not too certain if you have the h&k system and if the system is 4ohm or 2ohm. if its 2ohm, then i you will need to replace your speakers.

however, since you are going to do a complete audio thing, i say do it all at once because everything is gonna have to come apart. door panels, door sills, etc. wires are gonna need to be run from the engine to the trunk. might as well just it all done once so you or the audio shop can plan all the wiring and lay it out in one go vs doing it all again.

however, if you can use oem speakers with a new amp, then all you would need to do after they wire it, is open the door sills and unplug old and replug the new.

wow, my thoughts are everywhere..... sorry. i'll clarify it later when im more awake.
