2010 W204 COMMAND RETRO FIT ON 07 CLK 550
Has anyone ever done this?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/08-09-10-11-...ht_2041wt_1391
I really hate that the command in my 550 has no menu to pick songs off of the iPod. The steering wheel is cool and all but what if i want a specific song?
Also the navigation program seems to be a little old
And what i hate the most? No scroller.
Is there any way this could be done to the 550? Lets say i bought all the necessary parts, would it even be possible to retrofit it? Thanks.

Honestly, I'd go aftermarket before even trying this. I think it might work technically, but where are you going to mount the NAV screen? that would require a lot of trim customization. Heck, it would go beyond "trim" and into the word of a totally custom dash fabrication.

Agree with Rodeney on this! Too many unknown factors and the chances that MB updated/changed the protocols are too big.
Go aftermarket... Alpine/Pioneer + a good adaptor frame & interface for SWRC.
