Carbon Fiber Wrapping Interoir/Exteroir
So im in the process of carbon fiber wrapping the Wood panels in the interior of the car plus im going to attempt a full car wrap in carbon fiber in the exteroir. I never seen a "CF" CLK so plus theres nothing wrong with giving it a little makeover. ive already started on the interior in the control dash. Im workin on the rear wood trim right now.

I did it all myself in at my home, The interior took about 2 hours (most of the time was due to the actual finding the WIS on how to remove the panels in the first place) and i just finished the rear seat trim last night.

You can wrap the wooden parts of the steering wheel with carbon too. Search on youtube for "Mercedes Clk to AMG black - sweet wrap". On 3:56 you will see how these guys wrap the wood with carbon. Before you spent money on a new steering wheel, give it a try and if you didn't like the result, then go for a new one.

Thats a great find, the video was very informative and i saw him trying to wrap the steering wheel and i bet we all thought of doing that but im still worried of the case of it unrolling and bubbling up. Of course i could just wrapped the steering wheel and been done but vinyl is just a fancy "sticker" and any sticker that dis-bonds from it original location is done, and it becomes difficult to reply. Its always worth a try, i just dont have vinyl to waste on that project just yet.

Oh definitely, ive been driving using the leather handles on the steering wheel rather the actual wrapped steering pieces to better perserve them but the sun and heat seems not affect them at all actually but time will tell.

Great job. Do you have the WIS for the panel removals? I'm going to have a go at this over the next week or so. It would help if you could post the links or docs for the WIS.
Cheers,

Thats real gloss carbon panels. Its such a clean look. I meant like i havent seen anyone wrap the orignal panels in carbon wrap and make it a project. But definitely, your interior is perfect. I bet it wasnt cheap either lol
