Carbon Air Filter
Where is in and what should I buy to replace it! Thanks

It's located under the glove compartment. Remove the plastic kick panel below the dash and it's there. Many auto parts stores now carry these. BTW, it's only in use when you press the button to activate it (#9 below):

So there are actually 3 filters related to the air conditioning system. 1 located in the engine bay in behind the glove box on the passenger side, just above the battery. This is the main dust filter.
Then there are two smaller carbon activated "smell" filters which are located inside the passenger footwell behind a plastic shroud up behind the glove box. Which, as earlier mentioned, only gets used when the button is pressed. I like to replace all filters with Mann. |
good information guys...thanks.
