Pedal value sensor and throttle position sensor, same thing?
So I just had the car plugged in because of a few problems, the reading was "pedal value sensor short circuit".
Is that the one on the pedal (complete unit) or one somewhere else such as the throttle body? Thanks |
What was the actual code?

I put a new pedal on from mercedes and it's not a great deal different, still hesitating every single time |
Also did the position reset, no different, is this something the ECU will have to compensate for, or is it likely that the pedal sensor was just fine and it's now time to get it plugged in again at an indy garage? I was about to get service 'A' done soon, I may get it plugged in, pay whatever it is to get it done and just do away with it and get a different car.

"P20DD - [1] B37 (Accelerator pedal sensor) : Signal 1 / Short circuit to positive /
Potentiometer above maximum value (P0123)" Sounds like it's still a bad pedal. Maybe it's not the pedal itself, but the wiring? SDS gives no other possibilities. |

Did any ever figure the Throttle position sensor problem? I seem to be having the same exact situation going on.
