Front driver seat cover
I need to replace my driver seat cover. I've been searching for a good replacement. I believe it's the ash color. Anybody know where I could buy a replacement? Or if anyone has one to sell? It looks like this:

Is that your actual car, or just some picture from the net? Because I think ash is gray, and that looks like stone - which is off white or very light tan. Also, that has perforations in the leather insert, but is smooth in the sections around the edge. Is yours like that? None of the newer years did it that way - it was either all smooth or all perforated. I think your only hope for used is a wrecking yard. I doubt anybody here with a functioning car is going to have removed a seat cover - or at least not one in a condition you would want.

If that's your car, what is the matter with the cover? Looks pretty good in the pic. If the issue is just worn spots, you can have it re-dyed. Another option is new from the dealer, but pricey - if they still stock that leather pattern. As for getting it upholstered, let me know if you look into that. I'm curious how close a match an upholstery shop can get. Especially in perforated leather. The human eye can detect about a million shades of color, and I wonder how close they can get out there in the leather market.

that is definitely stone, same leather color in my car, and same perforations. but your car looks great and clean. maybe just leather cleaner and conditioner will make it look even better. why are you looking into changing the covers?

I'm pretty ****, but that seat cover is far from needing to be replaced in my view. You don't even have any cracks in the leather - just a bit of dye worn off. If it were me, I'd do one of two things. (1) I'd oil and clean it real good, then get some dye mixed and rub it just into the worn spots so it colors just the wear lines and those spots, or (2) I'd clean it good then get it professionally redyed. I'm not a fan of redyed seats, but a job by somebody who knows what they are doing - as opposed to fooling a used car buyer - will last quite a while. Way cheaper than replacing it.

I have the same interior color on my 2005 CLK500...and I am jealous of your seat covers! Good luck finding what you're looking for, I am curious to see what your do eventually because my driver's seat is worn about 50% worse than your last pictures so whatever you do may be something I would consider in the future...

Your Mercedes dealer stocks replacement seat covers. They ain't cheap but not unreasonably expensive.
