Keys won't work

Both keys have good batteries 3.03 volts, but neither will unlock doors or trunk, or work in the ignition (will not turn on) CLK 350 2007:confused:

Sounds like your immobilizer is toast.

Keys acting squirrely one day, not working next?

Are you certain these are right keys for car?

What's the vehicle battery voltage? Also, check fuse #8 on the fuse panel in the trunk.

Keys won't work

It was the car battery, <4 years old, just died over 2 days. Keys stopped working, lights failed, clock stopped. AA NZ did a jump start and the battery is with them for an overnight charge before diagnostic tests tomorrow.
