CLK 350 Cabrio
Will 285x30x18 fit Clk 350 ?
cheers I brought Monoblock 2 R18 8.5/9.5J. From old S class.
I was wondering will 285x30 fit in rear tyre space without rubbing ?
And if it will fit without problem, which tyre sizes should i buy for front. I am afraid speedometer will go wild
Just a pic of W209 with wide tyres

Just off the top... 265x30 should be fine. 285x30 very likely not ok. In the pic you posted, those are probably 285s and there is a lot more flare for those fenders.
There are lots of posts/threads on tire size. You can go to tire rack and access a calculator for speedometer changes (%) to be expected with the planned up/downsize. Along with the forum threads on this, tire rack offers some guidelines as well.

i had them on the back of my clk550 that was also lowered on h&r springs. You will also need camber arms to make them work. The didnt rub 99% of the time. They only did on big dips, if i had allot of stuff in the trunk or a person in back seat. I was running nitto 555r's 285/35/18's

You can measure the distance where rubbing is occurring. That will tell you how much spacer you would need. Then measure the distance between the outer edge of the tire and the fender. That will tell you how much spacer you can add without rubbing the fender.
I think the standard (OE) configuration on the CLK550 is 255/35/18 and 235/30/18. Don't know if you can return/exchange the fronts but 235s should fit without rubbing and the handling dynamics should not change much.
