Is there anyway to disconnect the red warning light for the parking brake. It comes on and buzzes while I drive and shuts off while Im stopped. The parking brake doesn't fully stay up. When I pull the black lever, the pedal can be forced up higher to shut off the brake light but doesn't stay in place. The pedal does click when pressed and release works, but doesn't seem to release it far enough.

I would suggest to fix or to replace parking brake pedal mechanism. It's somewhat easy to remove.

When I had this it was due to low voltage in the battery. Once that was restored it went away.
