Unhappy Suspension leak??

I need an opinion on this below. I took a few pictures (sre attached) of the driver side strut and suspension, and I wonder if the strut has a crack or is simply broken and leaks oil. What scares me even more is that it seems that it leaked unto the rotor and brakes. The rotor on the inside side of the wheel is brown. What do you

think? Broken strut? Affected the brakes?
Thank you so much in advance.

Own 2004 CLK500, but drive 2011 Sienna :)
Taking aside the oil - when was the last time you did check the rotors for the minimum thickness as well the the pads?

You don't say what miles you have, but I'd say your struts are leaking. Not going to really affect the brakes, but as another poster said, your discs do look pretty worn.

Thank you. Since you're not the only one to warn me about this, I think I should go ahead and have the rotors replaced asap. Mechanic said it was fine a couple months ago / 200 miles (I don't drive it often) but who knows what's their agenda...they don't look thin or scratched. A bit of rust by the middle (part not in contact with brakes) though.
What is a good brand/part number for the rotors please? My car is a 2007 clk550 coupe, 123k miles.(w209)
O.E. would be great but expensive..., any recommendations on a cheaper yet reliable brand? I'd like to keep the drilled kind if possible.
Thank you so much for your help.

You didnt say how old the struts- they dont look wet like an active leak- that would run down the outside and drip onto the floor.
Bilstein says struts may weep at first when installed--which they say is normal.

If 60,000 miles or more- probably best to replace anyhow,

Don't take our word for it from the pictures. When discs wear they get a pronounced lip on the outer edge as the pad wears away the rest. They are totally flat when new. I just noted that you seem to have a pretty good lip. But discs have a minimum thickness spec. You may still be above that. If so, and you don't drive it a lot, then no need to spend the money now. Get your struts done.
