Sway Bar for 04 CLK320
Hello from New Orleans and Happy Mardi Gras!
I'm in the process of replacing some worn out parts on my CLK 320 that I purchased in October. In the process I'm changing the stock 16" wheels to 18" ones.
I did some searching on the site but I didn't find much info, so I'm asking here: would it be a good idea to upgrade the sway bar and links to the ones used on an AMG? It is my understanding that the sway bar on the AMG has a bigger diameter than the standard CLK one...
Thanks in Advance

Hi B Trusty, there is one problem with sport/amg sway bar: it has larger holes for thicker sway bar links which won't fit regular (non-sport) front struts.

Yeah, I realized that the non-sport suspension coupes (which I have) had a different setup. I wound up keeping the original, The bushings were in OK condition so I kept those as well. I did change out the control arms and sway bar links though.
Thanks for your help.
