Srs button? Nametag?

I'm not sure what this is called but searched for it online and couldn't find anything. It's the little plastic button that is stamped srs. I'm worried that the fact it is missing maybe the airbag had deployed at some point.

No worries, it's just a plastic cover over a screw the holds the door panel in place. Had the airbag deployed, the entire leather panel would be destroyed. That part is available for about $15. If you'll post your VIN, I can give you the exact part number (with proper color code).

Part number is A2097270088 plus color code 7G50, which is "basalt gray". Note that even though your car has a specific interior color, each individual part can have a different color code and name, so you can't always append "7G50" to a part number to get the right color for you car.

Here's a list of MBZ dealers that have online discount parts stores. Plug the part number in without the "A" prefix, but with the color code suffix on the end to find it. I'd check all of them as no one has the best price on all parts, and shipping can vary based on your delivery address.

Thanks that's a great help. I'm in Los Angeles the lowest shipping is $7 which sucks for such a small part but hey at least I can get the right one.

I may try a junkyard too. There are a lot of mercedes out here and a lot of bad drivers so I may get lucky

Another trick is to use those online dealers and put the par tin your cart, then print the page and take it to you local brick mortar dealer and see if they will match it. Sometimes my local parts buy will do that, sometimes he just scratches his head and says he has no clue how they sell parts so cheaply like that.
