Wanted to start a new thread to let new members and others that I'm still modifying the oem air box. I like to keep this thread to let people know when I have a modded box for sale.

- Fast Flowing Elbow (FFE) which is the plastic elbow between the maf housing and the throttle body. I clean and remove inner plastic flaps and than paint it. Will look brand new and perform nicely with the custom air box. I use to charge $55.00 by itself. Free with air box purchase.

Interesting concept, and it looks pretty cool. Do you have any photos of the rest of it (like underneath)? Also, do you have any evidence to support the 10 HP claim?
Lastly, you mentioned that you remove some interior flaps. Will this present an issue when it rains, or when going through a touch free car wash (the ones where water is sprayed directly toward the front of the car)?
I don't have many pics of the inner but basically I remove what CAN be removed without messing with the structure of the box. The key is cutting it in half and raising it for more air volume. This is far from past concept, been proven to make power. I only have a dyno done on a c43 which is the car I have. That air box made 10HP/10TQ.
Renntech says their box makes that power because they raise it by 1 inch and clean up the inside.. My box is the same minus the carbon fiber. But mine is very affordable..
I been doing these boxes for almost 4 years now. Mostly for c55'amgs which I sell for $545.00. And the c43 which I sold alot of those. And other cars too..
And no you will not have any issues as you mentioned. Including passing emmisions anywhere in the world. You use the same air filters as well..
