Original Towbar Electronics retrofit
Sorry i have posted in the AMG section but this is the right location.
Greetings to all the members. I may have found a detachable towbar vertical mounting for my 2008 Clk 320 Cdi Avantgarde Cabriolet.
I have a A209 Model, I have seen that on ebay i can find W203 Towing ECU with the cables from the Tow Socket to the ECU and Rear Sam.
Are these one compatible with my car ?
I have found also other Towing ECU for w169 wich some seller tells me it is compatible and works on my car, since they told me that W203 models work only with first series of Clk 209 pre facelift.
Can someone please make some light on this situation ?
Also, does the trailer ECU need to be activated by software or it's plug and play ?
