Show me a picture of the Cab please. I like it, too bad I won't buy the first year of any MB. Guess the old workhorse is gonna have to last at least 2 more years unless I get an SL before then.

The CLK continues on with feminine characteristics in its overall design scheme.

Makes our W208 CLKs look like sculpted beasts!

It appears that MB is moving the CLK in a somewhat similar styling direction to the CLS ie; side profile/window line.

I always thought the 208s looked more "feminine" than the 209. Even magazine reviews commented on the 209's more athletic and muscular looks. I don't see how you guys think the 209s look feminine.

Actually......I hope this is the new body. That way I won't be mad for sticking with the W209 body style....or with getting a CLK63 W209!!! This new body makes the W209 look like a dream car!!!

I don't believe that's how the next CLK will look like. The auto press don't even know what the new C-class (W204) will look like and that car is supposed to appear in the auto show in September of this year. Furthermore, I don't think Mercedes would camouflage their C-class test cars and not do the same to their CLK test cars.

I think the article is flawed, it say's the CLK is marginally cheaper to produce than a regular C Class?? Since when is a pillar-less coupe less expensive to make than a sedan, not to metion all the extras you get in a clk vs a c class coupe....

I was thinking that, too. I wonder if they took into consideration components such as the engines. I think that factor alone would make a huge difference.

Exactly. The W209 CLKs look like the Volvo/Honda Accord coupes or something.

Now, when you add-on a full Brabus Kit, that really accentuates the W209's lines. But stock, especially to all the folks I run into here in SoCal, hands-down the W208 has a more masculine and muscualr look compared to the W209.

Well, Honda copied it so that's why their accord looks like that. The accord coupe came out after the 209. The 208's are a lot curvier than the 209s, the 209s have a chiseled look. I personally like the rear of the 209 a lot better than the 208. I really don't like the front end of the 208s and it's a lot more curvy and feminine looking than the 209's. I think over all the 208's are feminine looking and several magazines praised the way the 209 looked more musculine than the previous version. The 209 CLK320's body work is nothing compared to the AMG bodywork on the 500 and 55 209's. I like the AMG a lot better than the Brabus kit.

Personaly i like the 208 body... I think this and the 209 look very "Asian" Where the 208 looks more Muscle car. I'd like to see MB do a retro '05 SLK look to the CLK... like a bigger SLK but still a hot rod.
