I Have the same question I have a '02 and i'm going up to 19" rims what's the largest tire size i can put on it with an 1" 1/4 drop? (rims are 19X8.5 and 19X9.5)

Thanks all. I just purchased some stock AMG double spoke 17" from tirerack with the ADVAN AD07's 225 and 255's out back. I need some extreme handling tires since this car is lacking that very much compared to the Evolution MR. I need more feedback from the steering and overall feel from the car. The 17" is also lighter so that may help with performance.

Are the PS2's really all that much better than the stock(?) Pilot Sports that mine (and I assume all W208 CLK 55's) came with?

Pics with new tires and rim. Can you tell the difference
Anyways, why is my interior blue. I just realize mine was different. Was there a special order during 03?

Wow that pretty cool. That is the first red i've seen. I wonder why so many people perfer to get the black? Are those the only available colors for that year?
Wow you can really tell the difference between the good and cheap cameras. My car looks totally different from the orginal post

I would say it depends on your style of driving. To me, the two major differences are grip (30% better) and ride noise (50% more quiet).

Wow, that's quite a difference.
I guess I was curious because it looks to me like most on-line retailers price both the "regular" Pilot Sport and the PS2 almost identically, so it seemed odd that one would be so much better than the other. But I guess that's the reason why the PS2's are a "2"
