Weird electrical problem

I'm new here and new to the CLK55 that I just purchased. However, it's my third MB and I've noticed that there is a funny issue with the driver's side mirror...

It seems that the switch is wired backwards; meaning that when I adjust the mirror using the "UP" arrow on the switch, the driver's side mirror actually moves down and vice-versa. The left and right are correct, and the passenger side is fine in all positions, but it's just the UP/DOWN adjustment on the driver's side is backwards. Also, the memory seat positions are not recognizing the mirrors and I don't know if this was a standard in the '01 but my passenger side mirror does not move downwards in reverse.

Any thoughts?

I turned that feature off from the menus on the steering wheel. Did you check if it is on or off?

Maybe the 208 did not have that feature, but can anyone explain the backwards logic on the up/down adjustments? What about the mirrors being part of the memory seat positions... I know that should be the case, but mine does not remember the mirror positions. What's wrong????
