It seems the little car is a bit short on torque at low revs, but no bother, I will just tell the wife to dial up 9k on the rev counter before dumping the clutch.

Here's a 4.3 liter 279hp speed demon that I passed on the way to work today!

I slowed down as I went by him and sat behind him a bit to take the pic. After I did and pulled up next to him, I then pulled away and watched him as he continued to slow way down as not to pass me.

If you're going to wear the badge then you should rock it! Don't wear it if you're going to be embarrassed about it when being passively called out!

Bad post, but I believe he saw a CLS500 AMG, preparred to engage the target, but then instead stopped for a photo op with that E320(or whatever), diesel, AMG.

Pretty much spot on. Wasn't interested in the CLS; he was trying to show off to impress me. The E320 diesel wasn't doing anything besides posing. I was just feeling a bit sarcastic when I posted.

I don't understand why people do this. It's like fake Rolexes. The majority of the people who will look at or care if you have a real Rolex/AMG are other owners and they can instantly tell it's fake.

i truly feel a lot of these are done at the dealer. Ive seen them personally at dealerships and when I see an old lady driving an s550 "AMG" i really doubt she went and bought the amg badge and threw it on. Now some of them that are obviously added by the owner are ridiculous
