I have done it in other sports cars and it makes a very noticable difference. I have yet to see anything available for ours yet.

Any MD shows or meets coming up soon?

There are mb diffs available with 3.06 gearing compared to our stock 2.82

HIN is coming up April 19th. We have lots of local meets, just check out euromodder.com Its the local euro board and we have pretty frequent meets

It's a good question - and hard to answer with a real life example. The CLK 63 Black Series gets most of its acceleration boost over the regular 63 by changing the final drive ratio.

How do you like it? Is traction nonexistent in lower gears or did it actually help? I'm guessing you are using a C43 diff. Thanks for the info

.........I like it because it makes the car even more of a monster. However, you are right, traction is non existent in "summer mode." I drive the car in winter mode.

Are you referring to the current setup or back when you had lower boost? I'm sure with the current setup it would blow the tires off no matter what gearing you used lol

.............I was talking about back when I had lower boost. Now Summer mode is out of the question. Honestly, I don't think the 3.06 gear ratio will make a Kleemann car faster. There is so much low end torque that the advantage is wasted on the pavement by virtue of shreaded tires. It is fun in that it transforms the car totally. I can see how a more aggressive gearing in the CLK63 BS helps it. But I will probably not help a W211 E55.
