CLS550 HRE 948R - CLK55 AMG Sold
New to MBworld - Story - W209 '05 CLK55 - WHITE
Created this username for my gf, instructed to do research she said "18s are weak and it looks high in the back", I have to agree.
She always wanted a CLK430, started doing well. I hate driving her Toyota Solara, handles like crap from what im used to, and she really wanted a new car.
Found a WHITE!!!! 2005 CLK55 AMG 4,500mi with an in service date of 8/31/2007 + CPO - Not a typo. When I found this she goes its nice "but would you want to drive it, if I buy it." The Quad exhaust, white w/ blk interior closed the deal for me. Looks to be super rare.
Conclusion: Paperwork is done being shipped here from California on Tomarrow 6/22/08.
Went through every post on the CLK pic thread, got my suspension mod answered its either Brabus or HR...

-SL55 19" AMG wheels fit on a CLK55? (her cousin has a set, he is using 20" Renntech's now)???
-Any 19" OEM AMG wheel options (no knockoffs)???
-Also, this car has the dreaded wood package, anyone know where to get the silver dash kit???
I have the addiction ...
APR stage 3+ big turbo upgrade...
TT's should have come with 9.5r from the factory...
New project, easier to make 400+ and mod than the audi....
An AMG CLS or E is next on my radar.

Wood dash has gotta go, got sources or trade? (dealer quoted $2700)

I would go for a set of 19" Wheels with a nice lip. PM me for more info...

03 CLK 55 AMG, IMCO muffler/Magnaflow tips, KW V1 coilovers, 19" Petrol Metrix Wheels
very nice stable of rides. i enjoy the VAG cars myself. you will love the KW V1 or 2 suspension. better than stock ride and prices reasonably in my opinion. i am buying some forged monoblock LH two piece wheels this weekend.

I've been thinking about a ride just like this or an SL500 , havent seen a clean white 55 like this in at least 6 months.
