2002 CLK55 AMG Cabrio
Please help the newbie with an advise
Hello, I was hoping for an advise with wheels. I just got a 2002 CLK55 Cab and would like to replace the stock wheels with bigger ones. I really like the wheels I have on (the style that is) and saw a few on ebay from SL500 that looks very similar and they are 18s. So with me having absolutely no idea, please advise on what size/bolt pattern I would need and if you know of any 18' that looks like mine from any other year/models. Can I go 19 with out doing anything to the suspension? Would the ride be to rough on the 19s?
Thank you for all of your help, much appreciated.

CLK55 AMG
Dave:
I have 18's on my '04 and they ride just as good as the 17's. Everyone I spoke to said that the 19's would be much too harsh especially in cities like ours. A lot of the roads here are beat too from the freeze/thaw cycles. Personally I would advise against anything bigger than 18's in the NE or Midwest. Now if you lived in Phoenix, LA or Miami it would be a whole different ball game.
