anyone w/ suggestion for replacement wheels?
i'm ok w/ finding newer 18"...rather than refinishing/fixing my current AMGs(there's a slow leak - bent wheels?).
i checked out tirerack, but wasn't too crazy about their selections.
plus, it seems they were mainly 19"s.
also, i'm thinking it's not a good idea to buy used...hearing lots of horror stories.
any suggestions would be appreciated.

I wouldn't worry too much about buying used, as long as you stick with quality. I've purchased 3 sets of used AMG wheels plus a spare 18" AMG wheel and have yet to have issues. Just find a set in very good condition.

You have to check every couple of days.

I purchased one set from a fellow forum member, purchased another on ebay, and found one set on craigslist. Ask lots and lots of questions and get detailed pictures.

I would say check craigslist first. Find a set local that you want to go look at....good luck!
