There are a lot of threads on this, for example even I have one from my brake upgrade. If you are just planning to replace a worn part and get back on the road, see Autozone. If you want to take the opportunity and make the brake system more responsive, then there is a lot to consider, rotors, pads, brake lines and of course calipers. If you decide now is the time to install a big brake kit, much of the work is done for you but it will cost$$$, especially if you need to move from 17 inch wheels to 18 or above to accomdate the larger calipers. Again if you are using this as an opportunity to take a fresh look at your brake system then focus on how you drive the car and that will guide and narrow your choices.

I have used EBC on my motorcycles with no problems. Found better quality in them than O.E.M.
You have to consider the kind of driving you do and your budget. If you increase the performance of the car then you had better up the quality of the brakes.
Do you participate in sporting events with the car?
The AMG in stock trim is a good street combination but has room for improvement, especially in performance driving applications.
