Can you do this?
So with a lot of help from my buddy Ash, I have finally (for lack of time) finished installing my 2014 C63 steering wheel. And this baby is FULLY functioning. The last step was running and wiring up the shifter to work properly with the paddle shifters. This is a hardwired setup, so no remotes.
The beauty of this setup is that it uses all factory parts, so if something breaks go to the dealer order a part modify it as needed and you're good to GO

A whole lot of creativity and ingenuity. I just followed the step by step instructions I received from Ash. You would have to talk to him, as he spent countless hours and money to figure this out using OEM parts. It’s like drive a whole new car, even runs to the grocery store are more frequent now and exhilarating. This, isn’t for the faint of hart all though it is completely reversible (with new parts).

Nice work,
I remember reading a custom paddle shift conversion in an old post, there are a lot of nice steering wheel mods and custom fits from this forum.
It would be great to have them in a DIY section though.

to be honest its not something anyone can do or run. it involves making custom pcb boards and wire harnesses to make the steering wheel switches and paddle shifters work also it requires modifications to the clock spring and also modding a w203 clock spring to work with the w208. when ever i have a free day or two i may take mine apart and post some pictures, its not something that can be described over text and also there are exact measurments that you have to have the steering wheels rear shaft machined to. 1mm off and your esp/bas light will go off. took me about 8 months to figure the whole thing out.
