Right (passenger) side rear window wont do anything, its stuck, help!
Hey everyone,
Like the title states, my rear right window wont move on my 2005 clk55. It doesn't go up or down and it doesn't make it's small adjustments after i open or close the door. I have pulled the #32 & #33 fuses and have tried re-sync but nothing. Any other pointers or help you can give me?
Thanks, I appreciate it...

Have you removed the door panel and checked for power @ the motor?
The W208 had a L & R door control module that interfaced with the seats and remote control input. The W209 might be similar, Test for power here as well.
With all electrical problems check all fuses first. There are plenty

I had a similar issue, but it was on the driver-side rear window. First, we have to figure out if it's the motor, switch or the window regulator.
In your case, press the button for rear right window up and down. Do you hear any noise? If you do, then the motor is okay but the regulator is out. If you don't, the motor or the switch is out.
To determine if it's the switch, use both switches located on the driver side door or next to the right rear passenger seat. If one switch works and the other one doesn't, then replace the broken switch. If both switches don't work, then it's likely the motor.
Let us know how it turns out and welcome the the W209 club!

thanks for the info guys.
I'm thinking its the motor. Both switches don't work. When i try the main drivers switch i hear a click but then nothing happens.
sound about right?

Are you talking about the switch itself clicking and not hearing any noise (grinding, pinging, popping, motor noise, etc) from the lower rear passenger side quarter panel area (i.e. location of the window/regulator/motor)? If you are, then check the other switch located at rear passenger right arm rest. If you still hear no noise, then its probably the motor.

the click is coming from the panel just under the rear window. I have tried both switches and neither one of them are working.
any idea how much it costs to fix that motor?

I believe the noise you're hearing is the motor, but it's not engaging the regulator (due to the plastic gears shearing off on the regulator). A indy could get it fixed for around $350-$400ish range.

so I never actually got this fixed, since i was in such a time crunch for sema. I never even spoke to the B enzworks guys about it so they could just work on the other stuff that needed to be finished.
I called another Indy shop just to see what they would say. he told me that if it is the regulator it would be around $1k to fix. Sound normal to you guys?
