CLK55 doesn't start?
Recently i was planning on taking my 2001 CLK55 AMG for a drive when the key wouldn't turn in the ignition, it wasn't even recognized by the car
After that, i did some research and found that i needed a new key. So i had the car towed to the dealership and had the key replaced.
New problem. Car recognizes the key, key is able to turn....car wont start.
Battery is charged and there are no problems i can see...but whats wrong with my car?

was it a replacement key they ordered or is it on a new track? if its replacing an existing key track then the key must be left in the ignition for quite some time before it will work.
