Reliability factor for the CLK

Hey guys I want to hear your experience so far with this fantastic car :zoom:

First tow was from a tensioner pulley bering letting go on the pike.

It caused the belt to shred and slow the water flow from the pump. It boiled over after shutting down but no damage occurred.

I babied it to the nearest auto parts house. purchased a new tensioner and belt. I could have fixed it there but do not carry many tools.

Otherwise reliability factor of 9.9 since ownership.

Both of mine have been the best cars I've ever owned, even over my Lexus SC 400 which was supposed to be one of the best cars ever made.... Only issue with my 55 has been the AC caused by the dealer introducing too much PAG46 OIL into the AC system... $36 Receiver Drier, free manifold gauge and vac pump rental, and $24 in R134 and it's good as new again.

Hi All
we had a 2008 CLK 63, and the only trouble we had was a PS unit. It first began to "growl" and then cratered. $3000+ for the replacement. We sold it at 80,000. We now have a 2015 C63 507, the last of the 6.2 motor. Fantastic.

Power steering hose blew up, seatbelt retractor broke, heated seats and wiring broke, intermittent parking sensor problems. All in all nothing major except we were coming back from holiday when the power steering fluid went everywhere (and massive white cloud from hitting the hot exhaust), needed a flatbed the rest of the way.

Best car is my wife's 07 Camry - zero issues in 120K miles. No issues yet with the CLK but I've only owned it for 9 months.
