Hello all,

I have a 2001 CLK55 and I'm looking for headers. I wanted to see if there's anything else out there besides the OBX manifolds. I emailed Kleemann today, they even stopped making them.

New, used, I am looking for some headers!

I don't think you are going to find any that are significantly better than the stock manifolds. The steering box and rear mount of the lower control arms takes up way too much space on this chassis, so there's no good place to run headers.

I plan on doing some reconfiguration of this area on my 2002 CLK55 so I can build a custom set of longtubes, but it will take a little creativity.

I recently got leads from Jerry (Eurocharged) that they will have their headers ready in 6 weeks period (4 weeks left by now).

So I recently just totaled my CLK430 and I do have a set of long tube header that were custom built from MBH.
