CLK55 AMG Kompressor
It's been a while that i have done it , but was little busy and away from here. Engine is coming from G55 Kompressor , huge and BIG power difference between before and now, car is running perfect , engine has very very low mileage .

damn very nice, what are new specs?

Fantastic! There must be several people running this now. I definitely plan to do the swap when the time is right.
Did you use the stock CLK headers? |

Thank you, I asked as I am considering having long tubes made sometime and just wanted to make sure they would work with the supercharged engine which I thought they must considering it is the same basic block.

That's awesome, how easy/difficult was the swap?

Then installing the ecu in the sam is easy, same bosch me 2.8. |
Looks like a lot of fun Chico,
Hopefully the G55 is similar oil pan wise to the CLK/E otherwise retrofitting will turn into headaches. The K has special oil pump n baffles which might not work if the pans are different. Keep us posted on the retrofit details. It takes a lot of guess work out of crafting Benz. Agree using OEM manifolds until one is ready to tune for headers. Cheers, Gator |

Just have to figure out how to register it in CA
|
Who did your coding? No errors? Good luck getting headers to fit in a W208 chassis. Unless you have a w209

Like many Mercedes projects, one can get all HW to fit but the most difficult part is getting the SW to work. If someone in the United States wanted to perform this swap, what tuner/shop can perform all the SW changes (including VIN change, no ESP errors, tuning, SCN coding, etc.)? |

I did this same CLK55 compressor conversion about six years ago but I still have the ESP compatibility error which means that dyno mode will not switch on manually but when the dyno tuning equipment is connected to the engine it is automatically on.
The car was dyno tuned producing 360 RWKW which is impossible to use fully on the street because of the traction control interference. Does any one know how to fix the ESP-SBC engine ecu compatibility issue? |
I bought an 03 209 55 , it sat up for a long time and a rat go under the hood ate up harness even got in the inside at the radio fiber wires .. But I can't find where the small vacume hose that comes off of the brake booster connector goes ? Can amine help me ? I think it went into a harness between the cowl under the wipers ? But I don't see where it goes in the car or where it connects to ?
