2002 clk55 amg cab code P0450
Hello,
My CEL came on about a month ago. OBDII scanner produces code P0450 which translates to "fuel tank pressure sensor malfunction". My question is:
Where is this sensor located? How do I rectify the problem?
Please help!!!

Try changing the filler cap. The only other sensor would be on the purge valve for charcoal fuel vapor canister. (not confirmed).
Filler cap is known to throw a CEL though.

Hello everyone,
After switching gas cap with my CLK430 (as suggested by a fellow member) and clearring the code with OBDll, the CEL code P0450 still persists.
Any more suggestions???

If you have U.S version, you may got an issue with a vapor canister valve (that attached to the canister it self),
my friend had the same issue last year, he replaced that vapor valve & vent hoses, everything cleared,
before replacing the valve, check if there are any leaks on the vent hoses, that goes to the canister or canister vapor valve,,
this canister located on the driver side rear wheel, you have to pull out the plastic liner cover, you will see it hanging up there..
