Aftermarket engine mounts? CLK55 W208
I am wondering if this is a bad idea, buying non-OEM engine mounts from eBay or Amazon. Anyone install them and have a few years on them? Results? Any aftermarket brands better than others? Any to avoid?

like Zayed recommended buy the W211 E55K AMG engine mounts they will last for many years.
I have them on my C43 and loev them.
car is a bit stiffer coz i have the euro version of C43 with other suspension tweaks.
if you like SchPORT und performance then go for the E55K mounts.
if you like to float with your car buy softer mounts.

I would not be afraid to put a URO mount when in a jamb but beware these cars are torque monsters. Motor mounts are a common maintenance item sooner or later.
I put lembforders recently. The prior set was changed at the dealer under warranty.

Lemforder is the OEM supplier brand and is a great alternative to go with over Genuine: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/..._pg2.htm#item6. They're also cheaper than the Febi brand and also come with 2 year/24k mile warranty. Let me know if you have any questions.
