The 2005 CLK 55 was thought to be the best of the CLK line.
The mods are actually preferred and the cost of the car is fair considering the mileage. The only thing I would do is have a reputible Euro shop or dealer inspect the condition of the engine /drive train. A heavily modded car can pass emissions with the tuners scan tool which allows the owner to upload a tune file for inspection purposes. Probably runs ugly but the performance file is reloaded once the inspection is complete. Desirable car in my book. |

look good to me for $7K but $2.5K labor to install header is way to high... The only thing I did not really liked my CLK55 is about the same MPG as my E55.
