My interior project
I am about 2/3 of the way finished.
All I have left is the following:
Gauge cluster mini project - install led back lighting, replace ribbon cables and install carbon fiber overlay. I already have the parts, just need to get a decent day to install them all.
Headliner mini project - I have sourced out the following in black - ohc, mirror and sun visors. I will have the headliner redone in black, dye the louvers and handle for the moon roof and leave the grab handles gray for a little bit of contrast. If I do not like them I can always dye them in black. I have all the parts just have to get lined up with a decent upholstery shop and get it completed.
Steering wheel - either a) buy a black wheel or b) buy a black wheel and send my old one as a core to get the carbon fiber/flat bottom treatment. This one I haven't begun yet.
Radio - install a double din touch screen deck to finish it off. Haven't started yet.
Most of the items I wrapped myself minus the shifter. The items next to the dash as well as the glove box handle. It was part of some kit but out of all the pieces I only liked these pieces. I installed 2 AMG badges and 2 stars over a set of plastic pieces I cut to cover the power seat adjustments. Lastly, the seats.....got a good deal on them, love them.....bracketry was done by a friend of mine for a fraction of the price as the planted brackets and sits properly as well....I tried the planted brackets but they had the seats up too high. for any performance enthusiast I recommend it. After removing the seats, controls, wiring and associated items I easily shaved off 100+ pounds.
Anyway are are some pics. Enjoy!

p.s. if you are wondering yes it is a true dual quad exhaust.....seems all one needs to do to make it happen is to raise up the battery tray to run the piping. I will add 1 more pic to show the front bumper better as it is hanging out with its new best bud. I used to use round fog lights that filled the holes but it looked way better to use led bars and this is literally next on my list but I intend to make use of the holes by running a little ducting to vent the brakes. Little inspiration borrowed from the Z06

I have also made a few changes to the Z06 since the pic which also slows me down since I now have 2 projects!

What do you think for the wheel?
just a regular all black factory wheel?
factory wheel modified with carbon fiber accents?
factory wheel modified to have flat bottom and carbon fiber accents?
It wasn't an issue before but now it seems the flat bottoms are starting to get played out and does it offer any type of benefit to justify the cost?

I wasn't trying to call you out per-say, I just wrapped my interior in carbon fiber vinyl so its on the brain.

I suspect it works like downforce where at slow speeds it has little effects but imagine if you need to stop from a higher speed might yield a benefit. I will probably install a bit of black mesh in the near future but will need to wait bc it went from ok a couple days ago to terrible today so when it warms up a tad I will update it.
This hole is larger bc originally I had the duct run further in but was not comfortable with how close it was to everything. I will also get back into this side and rebuild the inner fender a little.
thoughts? and/or suggestions for improvement?
