Goin' to AMD challenge event next week at the Homestead motorspeedway!!!!

Have any of you gone to this????

Looks very exciting....

Which cars should I drive??....Should I stick with the CLK55 or abuse one of the other 55's or 65's there????

You should have enough time to drive all the cars they bring.

What day is it and what time are you supposed to get there? I might try to sneek in and check it out for the next time.

It's next Friday at Homestead and Registration is at 7:30...should last till about 5pm

thanks for the link. I'm going too at the end of June.

the born to perform video shows how they make the AMG engines - I didnt realise it was so easy - like putting lego together !

You guys will have a great time. You'll probably drive everything at least once. The SLK 32 is fun for the slalom ... they dedicated 2 CLK's and a CL to the AutoX and for open lapping ... run and grab an SL55 - by far the best ride for that!

TJC (did Pocono Challenge May 6)

I couldn't get in at pocono, so i'm taking the trip down to miami. Oh, the things we do for the love of our cars! Regarding which car to drive (if I had to choose). Yeah i'd love to drive a SL or CL, but i'd probably drive my car, just to see how far it could be pused, how it reacts, etc.

Dude, that is so cool you can show all those guys runnin Intel P4's what a real processor can do. Just make sure you have plenty of ram and a good video card ;)
