05 CLK 55 Big brake question

Hi Guys

Hope you are all doing well, I have a question and hope I can find a relevant answer here.

About 6 months ago I bought my dream weekend car; a '05 CLK 55 in Brilliant Silver.

My car has the 6 piston big brake setup in the front and 4 piston on the rears. Its time I need to replace the Front Rotors and the prices on those are nothing to dream about.

Here is my question is it possible to replace the 2 piece rotors on the front with say maybe the single piece ones from a 03-04 CLK 55 but still keep the 6 piston calipers?

Any advice regarding this would be greatly appreciated in the mean time the saving process will begin if there is no cheaper alternative.

Yeah sure, you can put 1-piece (345X30) Rotors from (C32/C55),

just need to spaced the caliper around (2 or 3mm), by putting washer between caliper & knuckle..

Are these the two piece ones or the one piece ones?

I think "FCP Euro" have this 2-piece Rotor for ($350) each,

and 1-piece for ($95) to ($140) each,

it can be found in E-Bay 2-piece Rotor for ($265) to ($310) each,,

and 1-piece for ($62) to ($130) each..

I recently added 2005 CLK55 6/4 pot calipers and I went with the 2 piece rotors. If you planning on keeping your car long enough to have to replace the rotors a second time, then FCP Euro would be a good choice since because of the lifetime warranty (you can exchange them when it time to replace the rotors).

Below are the Mercedes and Brembo (the Mercedes rotors are just Brembo rotors with a few more part number stamps on them) part numbers for front and rear rotors (from a 2005 CLK55 Coupe):

Front Rotors
A1714210112
Brembo Part # 09.9254.33

Rear Rotor
A1714230212
Brembo Part # 09.9257.41

What are the best prices for the Brembo rotors?
