GMODE Tuning is happy to announce that we offer tuning services for M156 owners. At the moment we are able to offer Stage 1 M156 ECU remaps for HPTuners hardware/software that has been verified on the dyno with excellent results. We also provide remote tuning services for the M156 ECU for those requesting a more personalized tune. Our Stage 1 ECU remap was performed with an unmodified 2008 CLK63 AMG on the dyno. The car made 376whp initially on the factory tune. After we performed dyno tuning on the car, it resulted in a 48whp increase allowing the car to make 424whp. Peak torque increased by 50nm at the wheel, but torque at lower RPMs is increased by an even greater amount. The increase in power is very noticeable and the engine is able to make peak power to the 7000rpm redline. Compared to the factory tune, the car is able to make more power everywhere across the rpm range and does not have a dip in power at any point. We also adjusted the throttle response to be perfectly linear so the throttle will feel much more responsive and provide the smooth N/A power delivery in a more lively fashion.
