How come C 55 is lighter than clk55?

04 CLK55, IWC CLS55 AMG(one of 55), 07 Honda CR-V 4WD
How come C 55 is lighter than clk55?
any inputs?

Because the W209's have no B pillar, extra structural reinforcement was added increasing the weight of the car.
