1800 mi/ 3000km service question..

i was wondering, in the front windscreen theres a message that says that an additional oil change is needed to protect the diff and gears, by that do they mean the engine oil or the diff/gear oil
please reply asap

CLK63 Black Series
The 3,000 km service is for the Limited Slip Differential, only.

Engine oil is not required to be changed until 10,000 miles.

Note that the current recommendation from Mercedes-AMG is that the only oil to be used in the CLK63 Black Series is Mobil 1 5W-40W.

This is a change from the prior factory recommendation of Mobil 1 0W-40W. Please check with you Mercedes-Benz dealer.
