Looking to buy a CLK Black Series
My point is that the seller may have been bidding on his own item. To have a 20% difference between the buy it now price and the high bid doesn't seem right. I mean c'mon, there's at least 2 black/ silver BS' on auto trader in the low 60s with less than 20k miles and they've been sitting for months. This one has 54k miles. time will tell.....if it shows up on ebay again I've got a hunch there was bid rigging involved .
and further to my pt... http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...80376025&Log=0
...been sitting on autotrader at $55k for a while. i think anyone who's shopping for a BS is going to check autotrader before bidding on the same car on ebay.

The only thing "wrong" about this is the two bidders (i.e., the winning and the other guy) should have recognized a great deal in the beginning instead of trying to "steal" it for a really, really low price. Maybe the seller did bid against it, I have no way of knowing, but a car selling above a BIN price can be completely legit.

Thanks Mike, I am having it inspected today by Texas-German Autohaus in Houston. They just replaced the rack and pinion on the car and did a service. Hopefully it all checks out and I will be a proud owner of a BS... Finally
