My salvaged black series for sale

I have really enjoyed the experience of care taking and driving this bs. While owning this car I got to know it’s quirks and appreciate its uniqueness. If it doesn’t sell, I plan on adding the blip mod. I decided to post here on the forum looking to see if anyone knows the back story to my car. When I purchased it, the cosmetic damage was already repaired and the guy I got it from was of no real help.

Throttle blip is a must do mod for this car. Transforms the driving experience in my opinion

I can only imagine. I have not personally experienced a bs with the blip mod in person. I have seen tons of videos and read everyone’s reaction on line. I spent a lot of money bringing the car to the condition it is. Now that the vehicle no longer needs anything else, the next question is which company to select for the blip. If it doesn’t sell for my asking price, I will gladly continue to drive her. Changing the experience I already love to something even more aggressive is definitely something to look forward too.

Subjective. I didn't have it in my first but have in my current BS. Nice touch, but its not a substitute for a manual or PDK/DCT type of transmission. Money no object - a 7 sp Tremec out of a Z06 would replace the 7 sp auto. Pretty sure it could handle the M156 torque. In fact, had the BS come w/a manual from the factory, these would be trading in the $90's if you could find a seller.

BTW, GLWS.

WHAAAAT!!! CLKBS with a manual trans from the factory!!! Any documentation or pictures of this?

Any info on the Tremec swap you mention?

Lol I don’t think that MB ever made a manual for this car. I do believe that someone in California was successful in swapping the transmission to 6speed three pedal manual transmission. I assume aftermarket computers were being used to accomplish this.
I do think that if these w209’s had the manual option they would be really hard to find for sale this their values would be much higher than what the bs is currently now fetching. Which in my opinion is way too little. These cars are so rare and in their own class. I really didn’t understand any of this until I became an actual owner and got the bs experience. I will own another black series in the future no doubt.

They are using MT from crossfire for M113. not sure if M156 is same bell housing pattern but I would never dissect a car like that to find out.
Rare Benz will find a home sooner or later.
Auction mabye.
Best, Gator
