Illuminated star?
Has anyone of you managed to successfully install illuminated star on their CLS? I have seen 2013 CLS pass by with one and just wondering if he got one from a dealer or dealer does not do that for this generation CLS

I have a gen 2 installed on my 2014 CLS. Bought an OEM kit (comes with wiring) but did not install per the instructions. Just put in an "add-a-fuse" into the fuse box in the engine bay and wired it up that way. So the Gen 2 stays lite while the car is on but its not super bright.

Gen1 lights up when the alarm goes on and off (sort of like what a puddle light does) but is not on when the car is running. The Gen2 is a much easier to install and stays on when the car is running.
